Built in 1941 by Schichau, Elbing (since 1945 Poland) as a class 50 heavy freight locomotive and rebuilt with a new boiler in 1958. Based in Rottweil from 1966 and reclassified as 051 two years later, it was in use for a further ten years.. Our thanks
