Built in 1941 as class 50 in Elbing ( since 1945 Polish territory ) , this engine was based in Rottweil, Bavaria, from 1966, having had a rebuild in 1958. Reclassified as 051 in 1968, it lasted eight more years in service.. Our thanks to michael wedgwo
